FIRSTBORN

COLOSSIANS 1:1-23:

"Paul an apostle of Jesus Christ by the Will of God, and Timothy our brother, to the saints and faithful brethren in Christ which are at Colosse; Grace be to you, and peace, from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ."

Paul is addressing the saints at Colosse, and he is saying, first let me say why I can address you. By the Will of God, through my accepting the call by the Lord Jesus Christ Himself, as an (sent one), apostle, an firstborn with Christ Jesus to the Father Who has called us to Him, and I am addressing this issue by that authority.

What issue is Paul addressing to the Firstborn of God through Christ Jesus?

The town of Colosse was located on a ridge overlooking the Lycus River valley in central Asia Minor. The neighboring cities, Laodicea and Hierapolis, were becoming the local hang out while Colosse was declining in it's period. Churches had been established in all three of the cities by Epaphras, (Colossians 4:12, 13), and Timothy, but Paul never visited the believers only by letters to them and Timothy. Paul did tell Philemon, a native of Colosse that he wanted to, and was hoping to pay a visit. The letter to them at Colosse by Paul was believed to be written when he was a prisoner at Rome, A.D. 60. It was Epaphras who came to visit Paul while in prison to report on the believers and their progress, and also on the false teachers who had gained a foothold in the church there. Paul sends this letter back with Onesimus, Philemon's slave, and by Tychicus (Col. 4:12), but unknown why, Epaphras did not return.

Paul wrote the letter to refute the heretical teaching that was influencing the Colossian church.
Paul gave reference to four things;
1.) circumcision
2.)food regulations
3.)feast days (Col.2:11-16)
4.) the heresy involing Judaistic tendencies

Paul addressed these issues one by one with knowledge of what Christ did at the Cross. The sinlessness of His life, the fulfilment of the Law and It's Word to the Judaistic People. Once dying, going to the deep of darkness, taking away the soul's held captive, leading them, and all who would believe on Him, up from the grave, and now being partakers of this inheritance of the Lord's resurrection from the dead. bring us into the Light by the Holy Spirit Who quickened Him and Who quickens us up. In Whom we have redemption through His Blood, even the forgiveness of sins. The Preeminence of Christ Jesus, Who Is the Image of God, the Firstborn of every Creature. Meaning He was there in the Beginning, in God, and all things that where made were made through Him in God in the Beginning and He is the Beginning of All Things, and the Ending of All Things created. "FOR IT PLEASED THE FATHER THAT IN HIM SHOULD ALL FULLNESS DWELL, AND, HAVING MADE PEACE THROUGH THE BLOOD OF HIS CROSS, BY HIM TO RECONCILE ALL THINGS UNTO HIMSELF; BY HIM, I SAY, WHETHER THEY BE THINGS IN EARTH, OR THINGS IN HEAVEN. AND YOU, THAT WERE SOMETIME ALIENATED AND ENEMIES IN YOUR MIND BY WICKED WORKS, YET NOW HATH HE RECONCILED IN THE BODY OF HIS FLESH THROUGH DEATH, TO PRESENT YOU HOLY AND UNBLAMABLE AND UNREPROVABLE IN HIS SIGHT: IF YE CONTINUE IN THE FAITH GROUNDED AND SETTLED, AND BE NOT MOVED AWAY FROM THE HOPE OF THE GOSPEL, WHICH YOU HAVE HEARD, AND WHICH WAS PREACHED TO EVERY CREATURE WHICH IS UNDER HEAVEN; WHEREOF I PAUL AN MADE A MINISTER."

BE OF THE MIND THAT IF YOU HAVE HEARD FROM SOMEONE THAT SAYS THAT YOU NEED MORE THAN THE BLOOD OF JESUS, FOR ANYTHING IN CHRIST JESUS, IT IS FALSE TEACHING. THE SAME SPIRIT THAT RAISED CHRIST FROM THE DEAD, LIVES IN YOU TO TEACH YOU ALL THINGS ABOUT YOUR INHERITANCE AS A FIRSTBORN WITH CHRIST JESUS. TAKE WHAT YOU ARE HEARING AND GO TO THE WORD OF GOD AND SEARCH IT OUT AND SEE IF IT LINES UP WITH THE GOODNESS OF GOD, OR LEGALISM OF WORKS FOR SALVATION.

OUR FATHER'S HOUSE

JESUS NAMESAKE CHURCH:

We here at Jesus Namesake Church, often meet in various places. Because of God's Word, "where two are three gather, there He Is," so that is what we do. It has come to my attention by The Holy Spirit, that I do not explain enough to all of us that are a part of Jesus Namesake Church, just what I am being taught daily by the Spirit. Meaning, a report of praise, worship in the Spirit of Truth, and victory over the enemies of God in our personal and corporate walk with God our Father, through Jesus Christ our Lord, His Son.

Eph. 2:1-22; Will explain what is going on right now in Jesus Namesake Church. I exhort you to read and ask the Holy Spirit to explain it to you while you are under the anointing.

IS HERE BY GOD'S DESIRE. FOR MANY YEARS NOW WE HAVE BEEN A GROUP OF LABOR'S IN THE VINEYARD OF THE LORD'S. THAT IS STILL THE SAME BECAUSE GOD DOES NOT CHANGE, HE IS THE SAME YESTERDAY, TODAY AND FOREVER.

THE NEED FOR THINGS IN USING HIS WORKER OR WORKER'S DOES CHANGE.
HE WILL BE CHANGING THE WAYS AND MEANS OF HOW WE DO THOSE THINGS IN THE DAYS TO COME.

On a personal note; I love the Lord and all His Ways are good. He leads us all to repentance by His Goodness. Thank you all who are a part in this New Day, New Way ministry.
