Genesis 12:1-3

"NOW [in Haran] the Lord said to Abram, Go for yourself [for your own advantage] away from your country, from your relatives and your father’s house, to the land that I will show you.

And I will make of you a great nation, and I will bless you [with abundant increase of favors] and make your name famous and distinguished, and you will be a blessing [dispensing good to others].

And I will bless those who bless you [who confer prosperity or happiness upon you]and curse him who curses or uses insolent language toward you; in you will all the families and kindred of the earth be blessed [and by you they will bless themselves]."

Now, here is the scoop... Terah, Abram's daddy was a Cladeian who worshipped the sun god Nemrod. He was in the land of Ur, as a priest to this sun god. Stuff happened in the history books that said, like the Word here does in chapter 11, that made Terah have to get out town quick... He grabs Abram, his daughter, Abram's wife and his grandson Lot.... And leaves... He was suppose to go to Cannaan and dominate that territory, but settled for Haran. While living there, The Lord tells Abram to come out, leave and finish the trip He asked that blood line to do... He was requiring Abram to give up his family religion and to become a "Hebrew," which means "Server of One God.." If he would, All Families of the earth would be blessed, and could bless theirselves by joining up with him, in serving The One True God...

Giant Holy Nation Taking Form

Daniel 5:20-30

"But when his heart was lifted up and his mind and spirit were hardened so that he dealt proudly, he was deposed from his kingly throne and his glory was taken from him; He was driven from among men, and his heart or mind was made like the beasts, and his dwelling was with the wild asses. He was fed with grass like oxen, and his body was wet with the dew of the heavens until he learned and knew that the Most High God rules in the kingdom of men and that He appoints and sets over it whomever He will.

And you his son, O Belshazzar, has not humbled your heart and mind, though you knew all this [knew it and were defiant].

And you have lifted yourself up against the Lord of heaven, and the vessels of His house have been brought before you, and you and your lords, your wives, and your concubines have drunk wine from them; and you have praised the gods of silver and gold, of bronze, iron, wood, and stone, which do not see or hear or know; but the God in Whose hand your breath is and Whose are all your ways you have not honored and glorified [but have dishonored and disgraced].

Then was the part of the hand sent from the presence of [the Most High God], and this writing was inscribed.

And this is theinscription that was written, MENE, MENE, TEKEL, UPHARSIN—numbered, numbered, weighed, divisions.

This is the interpretation of the matter: MENE, God has numbered the days of your kingship and brought them to an end;

TEKEL, You are weighed in the balances and are found wanting;

PERES, Your kingdom and your kingship are divided and given to the Medes and Persians. [Foretold in Isa. 21:2, 5, 9.]

Then Belshazzar commanded, and Daniel was clothed with purple and a chain of gold put about his neck, and a proclamation was made concerning him that he should be the third ruler in the kingdom.

During that night Belshazzar the king of the Chaldeans was slain,"

This a story unfolding in our times as well as it did in Daniel's. Tommy Hicks wrote a prophecy that is now coming to past.

Not a Creature Stirs Without His Eye, "On It."

Hebrews 4:13

"And not a creature exists that is concealed from His sight, but all things are open and exposed, naked and defenseless to the eyes of Him with Whom we have to do."

"With Him we have to do..." What a lovely thought... All our enemies crusted, and we just sit and watch how He does it...

When some call me to pray, I say: "I am on it..." Then let His Heart be in my heart as "The Heart of The Matter..."

2 Samuel 22:37-43

"You have enlarged my steps under me, so that my feet have not slipped.

I have pursued my enemies and destroyed them; and I did not turn back until they were consumed.

I consumed them and thrust them through, so that they did not arise; they fell at my feet.

For You girded me with strength for the battle; those who rose up against me You subdued under me.

You have made my enemies turn their backs to me, that I might cut off those who hate me.

They looked, but there was none to save—even to the Lord, but He did not answer them.

Then I beat them small as the dust of the earth; I crushed them as the mire of the street and scattered them abroad."

This sounds like I am ready for a fight...

The man of God talking here was saying what was... What Is... What will always be for those who Believe in all Jesus Did, Will Do... And Forever Said He Will Be in me...

How To Act Like You Know Jesus

Titus 2:7-10

"And show your own self in all respects to be a pattern and a model of good deeds and works, teaching what is unadulterated, showing gravity [having the strictest regard for truth and purity of motive], with dignity and seriousness.

And let your instruction be sound and fit and wise and wholesome, vigorous andirrefutable and above censure, so that the opponent may be put to shame, finding nothing discrediting or evil to say about us.

[Tell] bond servants to be submissive to their masters, to be pleasing and give satisfaction in every way. [Warn them] not to talk back or contradict,

Nor to steal by taking things of small value, but to prove themselves truly loyal and entirely reliable and faithful throughout, so that in everything they may be an ornament and do credit to the teaching [which is] from and about God our Savior."

It is hard to think of early Believer's had bond servants. They were slave owners. Titus the Pastor of this group was getting from his pastor a letter telling how to act. Because they now know Jesus, they are to teach themselves how to act like they know Jesus... Teaching their bond servants how to show respect.... Jesus has taught us how The Father Is, and He Walked The Talk...

Just Full of Myself

Micah 6:12-14

"For [the city’s] rich men are full of violence; her inhabitants have spoken lies and their tongues are deceitful in their mouths.

Therefore I have also smitten you with a deadly wound and made you sick, laying you desolate, waste, and deserted because of your sins.

You shall eat but not be satisfied, and your emptiness and hunger shall remain in you; you shall carry away [goods and those you love] but fail to save them, and those you do deliver I will give to the sword."

Micah was having the same problems as we are experiencing now, rich people full of themselves, and telling lies, just to hear themselves talk. They are empty, and their words are empty... They can only carry so far,  but then fail, and then the few that thought they could help, something comes and destroy's it...

I look at this to get advise from Micah of what not to do... 

I will not give myself over to a haughty spirit...

I will gladly Ask Jesus What He Wants, 

And, I will bow my knee and Say; "You Are Lord, and You Are my Lord."

Still Standing

Hebrews 11:17

"By faith Abraham, when he was put to the test [while the testing of his faith was still in progress],had already brought Isaac for an offering; he who had gladly received and welcomed [God’s] promises was ready to sacrifice his only son,"

Staying in faith, while things are progressing...

Last night I was at my High School Reunion. They chose to combine several classes together because so few of us after 40-50 years has gone by. But it was exciting, yet mind tangling. You could seem to recognize someone yet very slightly. Then out of the fog there is an old friend! 

The author of this letter was saying that about Abraham, he hung in there through out the possess of faith with the facts he had...
